Fourth of July Community Events Provide Nostalgic Fun

Winter Garden is the place to celebrate Fourth of July with a variety of down-home events reminiscent of the simple days of the past while providing the opportunity to create new memories of today. In addition, historic downtown Winter Garden is decked out in red, white, and blue providing a patriotic setting for gatherings with family and friends for the holiday weekend.
Festive Fourth of July Weekend Events
All American Kids Parade & Pancake Breakfast (Friday, July 4)

Now in its 21st year, start your holiday at the All American Kids Parade & Pancake Breakfast. From 8:00 am to 10:00 am, kids 12 and under can enjoy a free Pancake Breakfast with family and friends at the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge No. 165 (230 W. Bay St.). The festivities include free entertainment, family-friendly activities, community booths, and complimentary patriotic decorations (courtesy of the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation) to dress you or your bike, scooter, wagon, and stroller to march in the parade.


Hosted by the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge No. 165 in partnership with the City of Winter Garden, this cherished community celebration creates a sea of red, white, and blue as kids and families stroll through the brick paved streets with spirited spectators cheering from the sidelines.
The parade launches from Winter Garden City Hall (300 W. Plant St.) at 10:00 am (line up at 9:45 am) and loops around downtown West Plant Street, typically 30 minutes long. Take part in the parade or bring a lawn chair to grab a good viewing spot.
Party in the Park & Fireworks Display (Friday, July 4)

As the sun sets, anticipation builds for the highlight of the day’s celebration – Party in the Park and fireworks show at Newton Park (31 W. Garden Ave.), just a few blocks from downtown.
The festivities begin at 6:00 pm with live music performed by the talented band, Relic. Family-friendly games, crafts, vendors, and more keep guests entertained prior to the fireworks show. At 9:15 pm, an amazing display of fireworks are launched over Lake Apopka. Gather your friends, family, and neighbors to share this magical evening. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and find that perfect spot for gazing.
Hosted by the City of Winter Garden, no alcohol, no grilling, and no personal fireworks are permitted at event. Parking is available at several locations on North Dillard Street.
Independence Day Celebration at the Farmers Market (Saturday, July 5)

With Fourth of July falling on the weekend, the fun continues Saturday, July 5, with the Winter Garden Farmers Market Independence Day Celebration! Bring the kids for some good old fashioned fun including complimentary red, white, and blue snow cones (while supplies last); a free holiday kids craft; and more! Pick up the essentials for your weekend holiday barbecue including meats, seafood, watermelon, and produce to spices, sauces, and desserts. The Winter Garden Farmers Market is open 8:00 am – 1:00 pm with the holiday activities taking place 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Downtown Pavilion, 104 S. Lakeview Ave.
