Tucker Ranch and Nature Preserve

A short drive from Downtown is Winter Garden’s newest and most impressive of its nature parks: Tucker Recreational Park and Nature Preserve. Tucked along the marshy shoreline of Johns Lake, the sprawling 200-acre conservation park provides a true retreat to “Old Florida.” Meander through the wandering paths of the park to discover the history of the land and enjoy its authentic scenery and natural vegetation.

Recreational amenities include nature trails, a large playground beneath majestic Live Oaks, picnic areas, preserved cattle ranch relics, plenty of open space, canoe/kayak launch, and much more. Leashed dogs welcome.

Phase 1 of the massive park debuted in 2018, with various stages continuing to open over the next two decades. Future phases will include a 12-acre sustainable working and teaching farm, fishing areas, boardwalks, and a health and nutrition-learning center.
