Farmers Market Independence Day Celebration

The Farmers Market turns red, white, and blue as vendors compete for the booth displaying the most patriotic spirit!

The Family Game Zone will delight all ages with an array of games including life-size Jenga and Connect 4, bean bag toss and kid-friendly lawn darts and horseshoes, and more activities spread across the adjacent linear park.

Scotty Long will be performing Live music from 9:00 am–1:00 pm filing the market air with a variety of popular tunes including patriotic melodies.

The Farmers Market is a great place to buy fresh barbecue essentials for your holiday celebration including meat, seafood, watermelon, bread, desserts, seasonings, dips, sauces, summer produce, festive décor, and so much more!

All American Kids Parade & Pancake Breakfast

The All American Kids Parade & Pancake Breakfast returns for its 17th year! Display your patriotic spirit by decorating your scooter, bike, wagon, stroller, or yourself with red, white, and blue to parade down Plant Street. On the other hand, secure a place along the route on Plant Street (feel free to bring a chair) to cheer on the parade participants.

Entertainment and activities will be provided at the Masonic Lodge, as well as a booth to obtain a Child I.D.

Children are treated to a complimentary Kids Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 am-10:00 am at the Masonic Lodge. Feel free to also come early to decorate for the parade since limited complimentary patriotic decorations will be available courtesy of the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation. Parade partakers need to line up at 9:45 am at the Winter Garden Masonic Lodge for the 10:00 am Parade kick-off.

Fireworks Display at Newton Park

The annual Fireworks Display returns this year! Bring your chairs, blankets, picnic food & beverages, and grab a spot on the shore of Lake Apopka at Newton Park to view the breathtaking Fireworks Display over Lake Apopka. The fireworks begin at 9:15 pm.

Parking is available at several locations on N. Dillard Street. There will not be any food or beverages for sale this year. Personal fireworks and alcohol are prohibited.

The City of Winter Garden requests that the community follow all current CDC guidelines to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Tribute to Local Heroes

As we celebrate Independence Day and the sacrifices that have been made on our behalf, continue the appreciation throughout the month of July by celebrating all of our local heroes that serve us each day. Take the time to say thank you or show gratitude to our military and veterans, first responders, healthcare providers, local government workers, teachers, and anyone that provides services to make our community a better place.
