Newton Park

A few blocks from Downtown is scenic Newton Park. The park is named after Winter Garden’s first Mayor, A. B. Newton.  Located at the shore of Lake Apopka, Newton Park is known for its breathtaking views and its tranquility. The natural stillness of the park makes it a great place to catch of glimpse of small wildlife as well as nightly sunsets. Amenities include a boardwalk, boat ramp, grills, picnic tables, playground, shaded gazebo, and restrooms. Leashed dogs welcome. Also located at Newton Park is the grand Tanner Hall and accompanying Little Hall, popular rental venues for weddings and celebratory occasions.

Convenient take-out options at nearby Downtown restaurants make it easy to create a romantic picnic for two or an outdoor family adventure where the only thing you will have to bring is your appetite!
